   This was one of our best ever SWAINS REEF trips. The variety of fish landed included Mauri Wrass (set free without photo evidence because no one had a camera out yet!),Cobia,Spanish Mackeral,Venus Tusk Fish,Parrot Fish,Red Throat Emperor,Red Emperor,Coral Trout,the ubiquitous “China man”(good on ya’ Alec you always come through!),a few small sharks (under 6ft) and one hammerhead (about 14ft)which was hooked up for at least 3 or 4 milleseconds,wasn’t it Nev? Look on the bright side, you didn’t have to kiss it before you set it free! We took home as much or more than any trip I have been on and the variety was an extra bonus. Maybe the regulations are having an affect.
   As usual when a bunch of blokes get together on one of these trips,bonding is inevitable. We constantly find ourselves praising one another for our incredible ability (as an Apex Predator) to fool fish into attaching themselves to the end of a mere few thousand dollars worth of equipment so that we may pit ourselves against them!
