A week of near perfect conditions greeted Dave’s Crew from Brisbane. Some wonderful catches were made and a feast of seafood produced.

Fishing ‘The Shallows’



Well once again a top trip god weather for most of the week.A huge variety of fish were found.The divers taking big trout, some nice mackerel and painted crays.The fishos also doing well live baiting and trolling for mackerel,bait
fishing for cobia parrot fish trout sweetlip,spangled,and red emperor.Fish of the trip went to John”12 kg red emperor” closely followed by Simon’s huge trout
not weighed. John and I also landed 8kg and 6.5 kg reds, Byron god spangled
emperor,Pete Chris Luke Tom Ash Max Snapper Henry Ross also getting varieties
of good fish.Some good fun was had at night with some big squid”not required
on the ship”An ink thing, And also the ever present “NOAHS OR ARM STRETCHERS”
Once again a big thanks to Bruce and the crew for a top trip.
