Ray’s crew from Gunnedah joined us once again on charter to the Swains.

Steve arranged some great fishing and perfect weather for his friends from PMQ,  Coffs Harbour, Sydney, Canberra & Melbourne.  A bumper catch of quality fish filled the eskies.

Our chef Steve invited family and friends aboard for a week of fishing. Despite the windy wet weather, they still managed a few good catches. Are you sure Laurie wasn’t hiding somewhere on board?

Martin’s crew from Sydney and Narrabri were 1st timers aboard Kanimbla- had so much fun they are coming again next year!

John and his buddies from Forbes contended with a few rainy days but the results of their efforts worthwhile with some good catches.

The Hewitt clan spent a fun week aboard Kanimbla, this year  bringing 3x generations of Hewitts  together.  The guys enjoyed many of the reefs delights including fishing and snorkeling.

Our 15th year in the Charter Industry, 2011  kicked off with a   charter to the Coral Sea with Richard and his crew from Victoria. This type  charter illustrates the  flexibility of a 10 day charter. Whilst the weather was a little challenging to venture into the coral sea at the beginning of the charter, it gave Richard’s   crew  an opportunity to catch some fine table fish at the Swains. Mid charter the weather improved enough to venture out to Frederick reef  to chase Tuna, Wahoo and other pelagic species.

Once again Yarralla FC bought with them the beautiful weather and took home some prized catches.

 Bruce and the team had another successful week aboard Kanimbla with stops at Lady Musgrave, the Coral Sea and Swains Reef.
